Up to two years ago, most solar panels had silver-coloured frames mounted using silver accessories;
- Silver Aluminium roof hooks
- Silver clamps
- Silver DC Rails
- Grey end caps
This made the installation stick out quite a bit most particularly on black slate roofs and the bluey coloured solar panels didn’t help much.
Systems I installed were Clenergy mountings and Jinko solar panels and this was normal.
Things have upped a few gears since then!
Now we install ALL Black Solar panels using ALL Black mountings.
This provides a far neater finish;
- Black Stainless roof hooks
- Black clamps
- Black DC Rails
- Black end caps
Systems I install now are Solrmount mountings and either Jinko or TW Solar panels ALL Black solar Panels.
Systems blend into roofs far better, even complex systems can look well.
